Born in the South of France, Xavier Mortimer began performing as a street artist before studying Music and Dance in La Rochelle and Acting and Mime at the Jacques Lecoq School in Paris and London. He won international magic awards early in his career and rose to fame in 2006 with his show L’Ombre Orchestre, performed over 1000 times worldwide. Since 2020, his magic videos have gained over 15 billion views and 30 million followers on social media, including YouTube’s most-viewed magic short.
